Family friendly romantic movies can be great for everyone in your home. They often share messages of love overcoming obstacles because love is the greatest superpower there is.

Our family usually prefers comedies or some brightly colored cartoon. Kissing in movies grosses out our 7 year old who would rather watch a good battle. Our toddler likes characters with big bright eyes and my husband usually only has time for sports and news. Romantic movies are definitely underappreciated and overlooked at our house.

Is it possible to stay sane on a road trip with kids? The word travel makes me think of one thing; ARE WE THERE YET?

Surprise! Our family is taking an unexpected road trip in less than 36 hours! With little time to prepare, I’m wondering how crazy this road trip with kids will make me! We haven’t had months to plot out every potty along the way or strategic stops at various attractions along our way.

Motherhood (and the many messes associated with it) are something all moms can totally relate to!

Of all the places on the internet to share your tiny moment of peace in the bathroom, you have somehow ended up here!

Although the fun is just getting started here, I wanted to start at the beginning and share my unpredictable journey through motherhood.

After having my son in 2011, I started sharing my stories and some adorable photos at a place I created called Mommy Huh. I shared it mostly with friends and family. Soon after, I discovered it was an outlet for me to also share my thoughts about motherhood with others. It was a much needed place for me to declutter my mind. I had something I could actually control, unlike the little human who was full of surprises for me.
